Tyson Chandler
He is born on October 2, 1982 in Hanford, California Chandler attended Dominguez High School in Compton. He earned accolades from Parade Magazine and USA Today. He was selected to the McDonald’s High School All-America Team in his teenage years. Having a height of 6’’11 he became popular as a player during his time.
Chandler led Dominguez to a state championship before declaring as an early entry candidate in the 2001 NBA Draft. He became one of the famous USA Basketball Men’s Roster. He was also a member of the United States men’s national basketball team. Standing 7’1″, he was able to plays for the center position.
Tyson Chandler was selected 2nd overall by the Los Angeles Clippers, who immediately traded his rights to the Chicago Bulls for former NBA Rookie of the Year Award recipient Elton Brand.
Mario Chamlers
Chamler, one of the most famous USA Basketball Men’s Rooster was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 NCAA Championship. Chamlers is playing for the team Miami Heat In the NBA league the rights to Chalmers were later included in a trade with the Miami Heat.
Due to his skills in basketball he was selected 34th overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played for the University of Kansas in college for three seasons, including the 2007–08 national championship team, hitting a dramatic three-point shot with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to send the game against the Memphis Tigers into overtime this made Kansas win the said game.
When asked immediately after being drafted how many times he had watched his overtime-forcing three-pointer against Memphis in the NCAA championship, Chalmers responded, “a million times.”
Stephen Curry
Another Famous USA Basketball Men’s Roster is Wardell Stephen Curry II who is commonly called as Stephen. He is born on March 14, 1989 he is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and former volleyball standout Sonya Curry. He played college basketball for the Wildcats of Davidson College from year 2006 to 2009.
In the 2008-09 season, he led the nation in scoring with 28.6 points per game and was a consensus first-team All-America selection by The Sporting News, Associated Press National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). He left his Wildcats team and joined the 2009 NBA Draft, he was selected by the Golden State Warriors.
Curry got his first triple-double in his NBA career with 36 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, this achievement marked his popularity. Then he came close to a quadruple-double finishing with 27 points unfortunately Don Nelson was able to steal it.
