Mike seems to have born with traits that boost the game of basketball. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grown up there to touch the heights of excellence.
There was nothing but about classic performance when this man was used to come up in the court. He played marvelous basketball at school and continued his classy show up to his college career. It did not finished there as mike did even better in the professional career.
His professional career is full of achievements and accomplishments. He was a leader among his fellows at school while a powerful center forward at his university. Mike played as center forward at the Saint Joseph’s university and made his team go up.
Mike was among the American national team players during the summer Olympics of 1972 where he put some splendid shows in the court with his blistering and sparkling performance.
He won the silver medal during that season and was the part of the team that played final versus Soviet Union. He was selected by the phoenix in the 1973 and this was the start of his career. Mike begins it at high note as his career average remained 10.1 points per game in that season of 1973-74.
Mike carried in playing as the part of the phoenix from 1973 to 1976 since he was picked up by the Seattle in the 1976 but he played for a shorter stint with Seattle as he joined the New York nets later. He did not continue with the nets for long and Indiana picked him up.
Mike carried on playing with Indiana up to 1982 when he was finally picked by Philadelphia in 1982. He ended with Philadelphia with his 706th game. His career average is 12.1 PPG with 6.4 RPG and 2.3 APG.
