He played marvelous games during his school and college career and that make him get picked up by the professionals so easily. He was an excellent choice for all of the teams in his age.
He was drafted by both ABA as well as NBA during his career. The year 1973 saw him scoring 10 field goals ten times in the NCCA playoff. He broke school records, pro career records and builds some new ones before making his mark in the professional career.
He played for Detroit in 1976 and started at an average of 9.6 points per game. He later joined Boston where his average declines for some time but it once again got boosted when joined San Diego in 1979 and reached up to 9.2 again. He played a total of 171 games where he scored 1500 plus scores at a nice career average of 9.2 points per game with 5.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game.
