• Darius Songaila is from Marijampole. Being on the NBA never became easy for him. He had to undergo many obstacles before he was able to enter in the NBA. He is now playing as the power forward for the team of Washington Wizards with the jersey number of 9. His height is 6 feet and nine inches. Songaila was drafted in the year 2002 by the team Boston Celtics. He has also played for teams of Chicago and Sacramento. His present averages are the following: 2.9 for rebounds, 1.3 for assists and 4.8 points.
• Another one is Zydrunas Ilgauskas who is from Kaunas. Like any other NBA player, he also has to face all the challenges of being a beginner, especially as he entered the NBA scene. Zydrunas now play for the team of Cleveland Cavaliers and wears the jersey number of 11. With a height of 7 feet and 3 inches, he was drafted in the year 1996. Hi current averages are the following: 9.7 rebounds, 13.9 points, 1.6 assists and last but not the least, 1.6 blocks.
• Linas Kleiza is one of the favourites. He is also from Kaunas with a height of 6 feet and 8 inches. He now plays for the Denver Nuggets. In 2005, after he has completed his 2nd year in the University of Missouri, he has been drafted by the Portland Trailblazers and after that he was traded to the Denver Nuggets. His current averages are the following: 4.5 rebounds, amazingly 12.3 points and 1.3 assists.
• Martynas Andriuškevičius is also from Kaunas. He was born on the 12th of March, 1986. He was drafted by scouts from Orlando Magic in the year 2005. After that, he was traded for the Cleveland Cavaliers and soon after, to the Chicago Bulls. He has a height of 7 feet and 2 inches and this is one of his greatest assets as many teams are trying to acquire him.
Because of some circumstance that cannot be prevented, Andriuškevičius sustained a serious injury in the head because of a punched acquired from a teammate in the year 2006. One year after and after his recovery processes, he was then allowed to play for the team.
