An American professional basketball point guard is Baron Walter Louis Davis. Baron Davis represents the Los Angeles Clippers these days of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Baron Walter Louis Davis was born on April 1, 1979 in Los Angeles at California. Davis was brought up by his grandmother and a guardian Lela Nicholson.
Both of them have played a vital role in developing the interest of basketball playing in the bones of Davis and they were succeeded. They have given an incentive to play basketball to the Davis. So, Davis has also not ruined their efforts and he got succeeded in winning a scholarship from the Crossroads School.

He has led his team in this tournament and they returned back to their school with success in their hands. In his school times, Davis was a lucky boy to be rewarded with the titles: Gatorade National Player of the Year and Parade All-American. Soon afterwards, Davis was selected by the McDonald’s All-American to play with the legends like Elton Brand, Shane Battie and Ron Artest. There, Davis has won the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest being a junior in this field.
Baron has decided to get admitted into UCLA in order to be near to his family and relatives. He will be able to accomplish his studies as well as pursue his career while living at a home station. In 1998, Davis was rewarded with the title of: Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
In 1999, when Baron Davis was having his time in sophomore year, he was made All-American Third Team. In this tenure, Davis has averaged 13.6 points per game and 5.1 assists per game. Then, his life met a tragedy leaving behind an injury to the Baron Davis. After returning from a tournament in his sophomore year in the college times, Davis injured his knee by tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.
From the year 1999 and onwards, Davis has started his career with National Basketball Association (NBA). He was offered for the draft by NBA in 1999 NBA Draft. He was selected by Charlottes/ New Orleans Hornets. In his initial times with the Charlottes, Davis has scored 9 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, 2 assists and 2 steals per game.
This scoring is considered to be excellent as per the initial career days of any basketball player. Davis has stayed with the Charlottes/ New Orleans Hornets from 1999 to the year 2004. Then, in 2002 Charlottes were known as New Orleans Hornets.
