A slender but tough athlete with the height of six feet nine inches, was born on September 29, 1988 in the Washington D.C. His father Wayne works in a Library of Congress and his mother Wanda Wyne works as a postal employee. He has two brothers and one sister. He used to play with his brother.

After April 2007, Kevin Durant was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics to play in NBA. When he was drafted by the Seattle Supersonic, at that time University of Texas has retired him from the basketball team. Then, he headed his professional career in the National Basketball Association.
